As the semester as progressed, each of you have been working on changing the way you write where the goal is not simply an end product to be achieved in one week or one night, but a learning process that takes place over a longer period of time.
As you read the short section on "Process and Product" and "How to Think about Grammar and Style" (WA 14-16), reflect on what the invention and arrangement processes were like for you during Unit 1. How did this way of writing help you? How big of a role did required drafts figure into your process of getting started? Had we not used mandatory drafts, blog posts, and group workshops, when do you think you would have started the essay writing assignment for Unit 1? Post your short response (300ish words) on your blog over the weekend.
Be sure continue revising and drafting your Unit 1 essay and bring your work/computer to class on Monday for an in-class activity.
